Drop MDF file and Ldf file

    Hi

    In my testing environment, i uninstalled one sql server instance without drop mdf and ldf files.As per current status i don't have sql server instance but database files located in my hard disk.Now its not allowing drop the files.Please help me how to drop the mdf and ldf files.

    Probably because of security, the files would have been owned by the SQL Server Service account. Have someone who is local admin go in, take ownership of the files and then delete them.
