Drop a recovering DB

    Hi,

    I have a test DB which i have messed around with hours remaining for the recovery of the DB is estimated at 146 hrs.

    I want to just drop it and start again but I am not sure how to do it when the db is 'In Recovery'

    1. Stop SQL Server

    2. Delete RELEVANT MDF + LDF files

    3. Start SQL Server

    or just detach it.
