I've downloaded Sql 2005 on a 64bit machine, but it won't install on my xp pro laptop (32bit o/s).
What sql trial edition do I need ?
thank you,
Bob

You need a 64-bit OS to install 64-bit SQL Server. Since this is a laptop that you mentioned, it will be the x64 version.
Hope this helps!

There's appears to be a 32bit version of sql 2005 according to : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=6931FA7F-C094-49A2-A050-2D07993566EC&displaylang=en

After re-registering for the download, it provided the option to download the x86 version. I think I'm all set to test it on my laptop now.
I'm actually looking to test replication between my server and my laptop. Any good tutorials out there you can recommend ?
Thanks,
Bob
