Hi
I'm not sure that this is the correct forum, but users here seem to have a great range of knowledge.
I am trying to start an Access adp from a Web page. The file is currently started from a batch file .bat as I need to make a Registration modification on the fly before the adp is loaded.
It all works fine, but XP shows the usual dialog - 'Some files may harm your computer...would you like to Open or Save...'
Does know if this dialog can be overridden for a particular file? I'm not sure if it is possible - but would love to hear if somebody knows better.
Many thanks
Paul

Is your macro security set for low?

Hi Perry
It doesn't get to the Access db (if that is what you mean). I change the macro security for Access to low by editing the Registry on the fly from the batch file.
The dialog is the Windows warning which you get when downloading any file from the Web.
Thanks for your reply
Paul
