Down grade from enterprise to standard in sql 2008r2

    Is there an easy way to go from 2088r2 enterprise to standard. Need to down grade for lic cost.

    The easiest (and only) way to downgrade is a completely new installation. I've never heard of being able to change the version any other way.

    Uninstall, reinstall. First make sure you're not using any persistent enterprise only features

    SELECT * FROM sys.dm_db_persisted_sku_features
