Experts,
This is my first report in SSRS. I have worked on dotnet development and also with crystal reports, long ago.
Hence SSRS environment looks somewhat familar to me, and am comfartable.
I have some doubts here.
when I browse "http://servername/ReportServer", I get to see many directories, from where I can open all the reports.
Where exactly these folders are placed ? I couldn't find these folders anywhere. where are the reports coming from then ?
I am bit confused on it.
Secondly, I had created 2 virtual directories. "Report_Server and Report_server_test".
I deployed my reports in "Http:/servername/Report_server_test". But I am able to browse this report from "Http:/servername/Report_server" as well.
Can anyone brief me how this works ?
Also, How can we remove a deployed report from a server ?
I am searching in google too.
Thanks in advance.
Smith.

The folders are completely virtual. They are maintained in the Reporting Services database. If you want to deploy a report to a folder, you deploy it to the normal Target Server URL path, but in the Target Report Folder property you enter a folder name.
As far as removing a report from the Report Server, On the server, browse to the report, and then go to the properties tab and click the Delete key.
