Double pipe as text delimiter

  I need to run some DTS packages that creates flat text files. Everything worked fine, but the client wants double pipe as delimiter. I tested several option but none of them worked. Any suggestions? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

  I assume you are exporting from a table to a text file using a Transform Data Task. If so, try using Disconnected edit. Set up your connection to your text file using a "vertical bar" as the column delimiter. Then go into Package menu / Disconnected Edit / Connections / YourTextFileConnection / OLE DB Props / Column Delimiter. Set the Value to ||.
