dear friends
i am new in this fourm. i have a problem with connection to the sql server and clients
i am working in windows domain envirment.
a server that is domain controler having name is PROJECTS runing microsoft windows server 2003. when i go to install SQL Server 2000 in it windows return me an error of SQL Server SP2. one of client machine i make for SQL Server .. and other for the client of that ..
the problem is , when i install client tool for SQL Server on other client matchines and connect to the sql server machine system return me an error of connection faild... on of my network machine is connected with the login of Administrator of domain server but when i want to connect this machine by a domain user name the error will return. an other machine is connected by domain user name and not connected with administrator of domain login ... i am in problem of this error
please help me soon

Could you log into the SQL server using the sa account and verify that the domain users are known on the SQL server. You will also have to verify that these domain users have access to the required databases on the SQL server.

If you install SQL Server 2000 on a Windows Server 2003 server, you must immediately install at least SQL Server 2000 SP3. Since SP3 is no longer supported, you should install SP4. If you do not, the changes in Windows Server 2003 from Windows 2000 will prevent SQL Server from talking on the network, which is why your clients can't connect.
