Hi
I have installed SQL Server 2017 (RTM-CU12) on a server.
When installing I used domain accounts that I have used on other server installs.
Now I need to change the domain accounts to the accounts specifically created for the server.
When changing it the error comes up saying name or password do not match.
Oddly I can log onto the server using the account.
The account is an administrator on the server.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can you please provide information on which OS version SQL is installed?
Also can you please try to change it from services.msc instead of SQL Configuration Manager.

Doing the changes using Configuration Manager is the correct way. Configuration Manager will manage the necessary permission changes.
