Does Tracing capture tsql errors?

    Or will I just see a rollback of the statement?

    The developers think that the sql is being inserted and then rolled back for some reason. This happens 2/100 times. They are saying they are positive that error messages will be shown in the trace. I don't think I've seen error messages in trace logs, though. I'm still a young DBA and might be wrong...

    Nevermind...answered my own question. I need to enable Errors and Warnings on the trace. Yuck...wish the developers would use try and catches instead of making me run a heavy trace in production. Oh well...
