does re-initializing log shipping need reinitialing replication?

  We have transactional and snapshot replication from a production server to a subscriber database on an server in another DC.

  This production publisher database is also primary database in logshipping.

  We need to reinitialize log shipping that only affects the secondary database on standby server, do we need to reinitialize replication too. If so, why?

  I don't see any reason why the replication be affected, by re-configuring log shipping. I think there should not be any issues.
