Does anyone know what happened to http://www.dbarecovery.com?
When I try their website, I get "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname).
Hopefully, they've moved and I just never got the memo - that site was a great resource.
Thanks,
SteveR

hmmm.... well, it *was* a while ago, sometime in latter part of 2005, I thought...
Google's cache shows the main page as being retrieved March 26, 2006, and most of the other pages in their cache are within a month of that.

I hve emaild the contact listed at http://www.databasewatchdog.com but if you goto their hompage it does mention the site so I am not sure if they are having issues or if it has closed bu hopefully they will respond and I can let you know for sure.

Here is the response I was sent.
I did shut it down. It was becoming dated and it was costing me money. I didn't even think it was being used anymore, I'm so caught up in work related projects. Was it linked to from sqlservercentral.com? I never had any official link agreements with anyone, but now I do notice that it was linked to by hundreds according to google. I had no idea it was successful and never checked the web logs for traffic.

I have sent an email to Frank today, asking that he bring DBA.Recovery.com back online. This web site was like a lighthouse in a hurricane to me, and I am sad to see it go. I have also volunteered to take over the web site and host it on my equipment if Frank no longer wants to fool with it. -Alan - Louisville, KY
