I just started a job where there is no documentation of any kind. I would like to know if there is a utility I can use to document sql server 2000 transactional replication.
Thanks.

Do you mean scripting publications?

Hi,
You can get, I believe, software that will document your structure..not sure about replication.
What I would do (and have done) is do your own. you can script the publications and that will give all the articles and subscribers. I then did a table of replication jobs and their schedules plus diagrams of how the data is moved and to which servers/databases. I would say this is pretty vital in the event you are not around.

You can use MS Visio for the documentation. Its very easy to use and can be always used for storing and understanding replication structure. Here we can create a diagram with all publishing and subscribing servers and all the publishing articles .
