Hi,
We just implemented a BI solution and I wanted to go back and document in detail the entire process and flow. Are there any templates available that can assist with this? I want to document, SPs, jobs, Dimensions, facts, calculated measures, etc. I know I can come up with something but it would be nice if there was a cookie cutter template out there.
Thanks!

BI Documenter is one of the better ones. There's a free edition but it won't come close to what you want/need.

OLAPScribe is free but doesn't look to have been worked on since 04, so, your mileage may vary on how well it works. Plus it's only the SSAS side of things.

My two cents:
Remember to make a good compiled document for all metadata and processes

Good one, the whole BI system is built and you are documenting it now!!! ... Just kiddin
no specific template apart from what is already mentioned above, but make sure to create something of the sort of a mapping document, a simple excel spreadsheet where somebody working on the system, easily knows, what measure maps to what number in the source and which dimension member to which column in the source, including the middle stages... hope my english was not that bad...

Yeah, I definitely did not like doing this AFTER the build but that is the way it turned out 🙂
