Do you use Update Statistics Maintenance plan task ?

    Hi,

    I'm using Update Statistics Maintenace plan task with all default option for all databases and its taking more than 1 hr to complete the job. I'm running this on weekly basis.

    I want to know the best options to select instead of going with default options for creating Update Statistics Maintenance plan task . I went through the link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178678(SQL.90).aspx, but I want to know the most useful options to select so that the job won't take much time and reources.

    The best options will depend on your environment. Test the options in your environment.
