Hi,
We have 2 node A/P set up for SQL Server 2008 on Windows Server 2008. Everything is running fine. But in Preferred owners list, there is NO node is selected.
Do we MUST need to set the preferred Owner?
Thanks

I always set it, but only really required if you intend to configure\use failback policies!

I never worry about a preferred node..Never really understood that anyway, since both nodes should be identical hardware/settings. It shouldn't matter which one it's on.
