Do I need to install SP1 before SP2 for SQL 2005?

  Hi,

  I have inheritted a system that has the original version of SQL Server 2005 on it:

  9.00.1399.06     RTM    Standard Edition

   

  My question is, if I want to bring this server up to date now with all the latest fixes etc, do I need to install SP1 before I install SP2 OR can I just go and install SP2?

  No. SQL Server service packs are cumulative, so you only need to restore the most recent.
