Do I have the update that would include this patch/fix?

    I apologize for the newbie question, but I can't figure this out. I am seeing a ton of messages in my SQL logs starting with "A time-out occurred while waiting for buffer latch".

    I found a fix related to this problem here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2545989

    We do have snapshot isolation level turned on for this database.

    Here are part of the results for SELECT @@version on this database: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) - 10.50.4042.0 (X64) Mar 26 2015 21:18:04

    Do I have the patch that should address this? I read through all the links but I'm having trouble figuring it out. Thanks so much for any help.

    Considering that this fix is included since version 10.50.1797.0, you should have it.
