Hi,
Do DDL triggers cause any considerable performance impact ?
Thanks,

Dear Joy,
Triggers always have a performance impact as they will keep you transaction open till their execution is completed. It does not matter whether it is DDL or DML trigger.
However Triggers performs a wonderful job when it comes to certain functionality as in data consistency or implementing business logic.
Trade off is always their, It is just the matter of your Unique requirement that will decide whether or not to use them.
Hope it helps..!!

Depends what they do.
However, since DDL triggers only fire on DDL operations, unless you're changing the schema every few seconds, it shouldn't have a major effect.
