Hello all,
I need to remove some old databases from server A.
These databases have been involved in snapshot replication. The distribution server for this replication has been taken offline, without removing the replication from these databases.
The Configure Publishing, Subscribers, and Distribution screen does not open; instead, I get an error window saying 'The Distributor is not available. Error 17: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.'
Is there a workaround to remove the replicated from server A?

Hello all,
I still have the same situation; I wonder if there even is an answer to this question.
Has anyone come across the same situation?
