Hi guys,
How does the Distribution Agent decide that the transactions to be replicated have been successfully copied to the Subscriber database?

It uses system stored procedures, and in the Replication databases it keeps track of the transactions sent. Are you trying to do something specific, or were you just curious? Or are you having a specific error / problem?

We have a specific problem, one of two of our subscribers is not in sync with the published database. The set up is pretty simple - Transactional replication - one way - push subscriptions - The publisher is also the distributor. There are no errors reported by any of the agents. So we are trying to figure out why all the data has not been successfully distributed to one of the subscribers. Could you give me some pointers on where I might start to look as to the cause.
