  I have a function in MSS 2000 that converts the date time to a date. I would like to know if there is a way to display the date without using convert to change it to varchar or a trim function. I just want to see 05/08/2003 not 2003-05-08 00:00:00

  Just wondering why you don't want to use the convert function?

  With the 'style' set to '101' in convert function, you will see what you like.
