    Thanks for your article. It is an interesting function you have put together. I have started to use Central Management Services to do a similar check across all my MS SQL estate and so far have found it to be very useful. (May be I should put together an article on that 😀 )

    There needs to be a disclaimer or note on this script/article stating that this applies to backups handled under certain conditions. The way it is currently written it is misleading and implies that it works in all cases.

    This does not work to determine missing backups in all situations. For example if backups are not created using backup sets and "backupmediafamily" are not used this will not work.
