Hello, we are in the process of planning SQL 2000 upgrade to SQL 2008 64-bit.
It will be a clean install.
Would anybody know where to find a list of any T-SQL that is discontinued between SQL 2000 and SQL 2008.
Does anybody know if SQL 2008 has the ability to run the DTS Package Emulator so DTS packages can work as in SQL 2000 as normal while they are changed over in time?
Thanks

You can get the list of deprecated items from a search on MSDN. You can run DTS inside SSIS, but the behavior is very inconsistent. You'll need to do a lot of testing. I'd suggest looking into DTSXchange. It's a conversion package from PragmaticWorks. It'll save you a lot of headaches.
