Hi,
When I try to create a new jobs in enterprise manager. I get the message error 0: "The server has been disconnected. Please reconnect. But I am still connected to the server. When I cancelled out of the job, I can refresh and check any table on Enterprise manger. It only happen when I tried to create a new job. I can edit an existing job fine on enterprise manager. Anyone experience or heard of this issue before. Any suggestion or help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you very much.

Set query timeout property to unlimited & try to run you creat job script again.

The query time-out is already set to infinite.

Found the solution. The disconnection error on Enterprise Manager when creating a new job was due to Norton Anitvirus software. If you temporarily disable the Norton anitvirus, you can create the job without any error and then you can enable the Norton Antivirus again.
