differential backups

  Hi guys,

  is there a way to retain differential backup for an x number of days.

  Let's say, I do a weekly full backup, then I need to do daily differential backups, deleting any files that are older than 7 days?

  I know you could do this with full backups via maintenance plans, but is there something similar for differential backups?

  Here's a thread that has a suggestion for how to set this up.  There are also lots of backup scripts in the Scripts section of this site that you could probably adapt to your needs.
