Hi,
I have a question regarding differential datbase backup. As from books online differential datbase backup records only the data that has changed since the last database backup.Suppose I just inserted only one row since the last full database backup.Does this differential datbase backup takes or backups only one row that I inserted.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
SR

As per differential backup schedule to run, yes it will. it will back every think form last known full backup to the current & then follows as your differential backup goes on.

Mission impossible.
But if u just want to recover the only one row, and u know when it was last modified,u can restore the database to the specified time.
