Difference between running time of a JOB

  • Hi,

    I would like to know difference running time between a JOB.

    Example: in my sql server istance got many JOB...

    I would like know difference < 50% of job runnning respect precedent running...

    Someone can give some piece of code for start with my

    Do you mean you have a SQL Agent Job and you don't understand why it's running slow?

    yestarday, My JOB runnung succesfull with 10 minute,

    today, job run succesfull with 3 minute...

    All fine but it's an erron inside script (table before was 10000 row today 1000).

    Now If I can calculate PERCENT MINUS OF PLUS OF RUNNING JOB respect the day before...mybe for me this can be an warning....something not go perfectly...

  • So some sort of data migration moved 10000 rows one day but only 1000 the next... Nothing changed in the query between the two days, right?

    You'll just have to examine what that query is doing. Recheck the logic. If it's not proprietary, post it here and someone should be able to help out.
