I added a new node into the sql server 2008 cluster..
I installed SP1 and I see that the version now is showing as 10.51.2500.0 where as the production instance on the active node is showing 10.50.2500.0?
Whats this discrepancy about?
The download location also says the version as 10.50.2500.0- http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26727

First, you mean SQL Server 2008 R2. SQL Server 2008 is a completely separate product. If you confuse this, you might find yourself in a lot of trouble.

I don't see 10.51.2500.0 as a build.
