what r the key differences bw high vailability & disaster recovery to make a sense?

High availability solutions are designed so that in case of any disaster the database can be brought back to its original state.

zeeyenyes4u, as far i can say both are different faces of coin. If will do disaster recovery by making your server as high availability, and once set as high avaialability data in server can be saved after any disaster.
