Hello,
I have only question for thinking.
if you have full backup which is sometimes more than 24 hours, for example 35 or more. Now will not thinking about slow disk system, i know 🙂
And in this time sometimes is execute also differential backup.. is there any problem with this ?
And which full backup i will use in case of restore ? This during diff or previous last week ?
thanks 🙂

The differential backup will be blocked by the full, and hence will only execute after the full backup has completed, and hence it'll be obvious which diff you'd use to restore.

As you allude to, it would seem that your backup system may have a bit of a problem and so you have piqued my interest. How big is this database?

Hello,
thanks for response.
before was full backup every day, and that was little problem, also with backup system for tape. because like I wrote , every day backup and take more than 24hours., so sometimes fall down.
two different jobs with same schedule.
mon - sat > 4,30PM > diff
sun > 4,30PM > full
There are lot of databases , about 400GB, 200GB and then few small > 80,40,20 GB ...
So also with two jobs is possible that diff will wait for full backup ?
