Hi,
I have a sql2k server enterprise on win2000 server and sql2k personal edition on my winXP pro. sp2. I registered sql2k on win2k on my XP machine so I can work on the database w/o leaving my seat. Today, while I was working on an existing database, I needed to change something in my database, so opened up the diagram. But I got a blank screen with all the tool bars activated. I went to the server and checked if the diagrams are there. They are all there. I cannot create a new table nor add an existing table. I can create a new diagagram but could not retrieve an existing diagram. Is there anyone to have experience the same problem and solved the problem? Thanks.
Dong.

Do you have Visual Studio 6 Sp6 installed? If so, this may be your problem - I encountered this problem yesterday and solved it by replacing the MDT2DF.DLL (version 2.0.0.9586)
from SP6 with the version from SP5, MDT2DF.DLL from SP5 (version 2.0.08958). This is described in http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=5&messageid=118513

You are right, Terri. I just installed sp6. I followed the instruction and solved the problem. Thank you so much.
