Developer Edition on Development Environemnt

    Hello Experts!

    1)Can we install Developer Edition of sql server 2008R2 on development environment box..if so.. Do we face any Licensing issues?

    2)I am unable to understand MSDN licensing can someone educate me by providing a good link.

    As with anything licensing, it is best to speak to MS directly or contact your MS reseller.

    General rule of thumb is anyone who accesses a development SQL server must have a Developer Edition SQL license, be that a stand alone license just for SQL or one which is used via a MSDN subscription.
