Could somebody tell me how I can tell which licensing model was used when setting up my SQL Server 7 server. I have tried looking under Administrative tools/Licensing , but receive the Error - The license logging service is not running on [adserver.domain] or [adserver.domain] is inaccessible.
Has anybody seen this or is there a way to determine the licensing from within SQL Server itself

The License Logging Service may be disabled on the SQL Server's system or on the domain controller. However, the information isn't necessarily accurate. More here:

Thanks for that Brian, I must admit that I had found out where to enable the LLS, but uncharacteristically forgot to add something to this post when I had found it. Interesting note about the accuracy of the LLS info too cheers
