Detangling 7.0 and 2000

    This is a fun one 🙂 Looking for input!!

    If you have one server with a defualt instance of SQL Server 7.0 and a secondary instance that is SQL Server 2000, and you want to remove the 7.0 instance, how would you do it?

    I thought the SQL 7 uninstaller did this right without issue, you may have to fix the instance in Registry but I am pretty sure was not an issue. If this however is a production instance I would reinstall from scratch instead, don't like left over junk hanging around that can become an issue for me later.
