Deployment problem in SSAS 2008

  Hi,

  When i try to deploy my SSAS project it is show the following error.I did as it is shown in the error descirption,then also i am getting same erro. Anybody can suggest me how to solve this problem

  "Error:The project could not be deployed to the 'localhost' server because of the following connectivity problems : A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running. To verify or update the name of the target server, right-click on the project in Solution Explorer, select Project Properties, click on the Deployment tab, and then enter the name of the server.00"

  here i am using following environment

  "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (RTM) - 10.0.1600.22 (Intel X86) Jul 9 2008 14:43:34 Copyright (c) 1988-2008 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition on Windows NT 5.1 <X86> (Build 2600: Service Pack 2) "
