Deployment of a package

    Hi,

    I am not able to deploy the package into SQL Server. I am getting the below error message. Seems to be this is like a privilege error. The user id has dtsadmin rights also read n write access to the msdb db. Not sure why I am getting this error message.

    The SaveToSQLServer method has encountered OLE DB error code 0x80040E14 (Access to Integration Services package 'BasicETL' is denied.). The SQL statement that was issued has failed.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Who created the package? What permissions did they save the package with?

    It sounds like access to the package itself is restricted to a specific Username / password.
