I had created 3 Config files for one package and had the one on top as the one I wanted to use when deployed. But the Solution was deploying more than one SSIS package. Should the config file on top (if more than one) be used when it is deployed? If you allow to enable configuration, only allows one file to be chosen even if the solution is creating a Manifest file with more than one SSIS package in it.
I actually discovered used the bottom (last) one worked.
When creating a job for the SSIS package under steps, are you suppose to add the config file under the Configurations tab or is that for something else?
Do SSIS config files work with MSDB or only with File Store?
Thanks for your input.

What do you mean by "the one on top?" On top of what? If you are talking about the Package Configurations Organizer, then your SSIS Package will use ALL of the configurations in the list.

Sorry, I cannot figure out what you are talking about. Tell us what tool, feature, window or dialog of SSIS you are looking at.

Yes. Configuration files, there may be more than one.

There are 5 different kinds of Package Configurations. Package Configuration Files are files and do not get stored in SQL Server. However, there are also SQL Server Configurations which can be.
