Deploying SSIS Packages to File System

    I was wondering if anyone else had a problem like this or if I am missing something.

    I tried deploying the SSIS package to a different location than the default, and it deployed fine.  When I use Mgmt Studio to connect to the Integration Svcs Server and look for the package under File System it doesn't show up.

    The package only shows up if I deploy to the default location.

    Any help appreciated..

    Actually figured out this one.

    Packages in different locations can be imported and are then visible through the object explorer.

    That's right and the only packages that the server enumerates are in the special folder on the server, specified in the MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml file.
