Deploy and Execute SSIS package on non-MSSQL machine

  I have developed an SSIS package and need to deploy/execute it on a machine that does not have MSSQL Server installed. Can I install only the SSIS components on a machine or does it come bundled with MSSQL?

  You can install client components and use them to deploy or execute the SSIS package.

  Hi Sugesh,

  How do I make a dll of SSIS package ? Is installing different than deploying? I am confused here. Can you please guide? Which one is better?

  Sugesh,

  I understood that executing an SSIS package is not part of the client component in SQL 2005.

  I have installed the client on a machine, but it is not possible to execute an SSIS dtsx on that machine.
