We recently renamed a physical server from SERVER6A to SERVER6. The SQL instance name likewise changed from SERVER6A to SERVER6. I had one scheduled job prior to the name change. I cannot change or delete the job. The message I get is "Error 14274 - cannot add, update or delete a job that originated from an MSX server". I can't find anything on the MS website nor in BOL. Any thoughts?

Try updating the originatingserver column in sysjobs.

That did the trick! Thanks for the quick response! Anywhere else I may have issues similar to this that you can think of?

DTS packages maybe. Other than that, apps pointed at the old server maybe.
