If you don't have any backups to restore you should uninstall and re-install Reporting Services. If you have set any encryption keys or custom changes made to your *.config files, be sure to back those up beforehand.

Thanks for the reply, can you please let me know the path for these config files. I am not sure abt encryption keys here, also, what are the procedures i have to follow after taking back up of these config files
Thanks a ton!! 🙂

In the Start menu, Under Program Files, go to Configuration Tools, then choose "Reporting Services Configuration Manager", you will find out if you are using encryption keys there.
If you don't know where to find all your config files then chances are they weren't customized. but just in case, they're located at in the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQL\Reporting Services\ReportServer" or "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQL\Reporting Services\ReportManager" folders

There's really nothing involved if you've not customized the config files, just re-install the reporting server - just remember this will delete everything in your RS databases and you will start over fresh as if you've never had RS installed before. Any Reports, Subscriptions, Data Sources, and such that you had in your http://YourServer/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx will be gone forever. Of course, you can always re-deploy those.
If you find that you do have changes made to your config files, just stop the Reporting Services service, replace the customized config files, and restart the service.

My Reporting databases dont have any reports, initially they are just installed for future purpose. But they are accidentally deleted. So, i guess now there are no issues in installing the reporting services again.

If creating the reporting databases is the only issue, shouldn't have to reinstall SSRS. Just bring up the Reporting Configuration Manager and on the Database tab click "Change Database". Should give you an option to create new databases.

Wow can't believe I missed that :hehe: This is by far the easiest approach!
