When trying to delete a package I receive:
Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.ObjectExplorerUI.DeletePackageAction' to type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.ObjectExplorerUI.ISimpleAction'. (Microsoft.SqlServer.DtsObjectExplorerUI)
Why is this.

Found my reason: The SSMS shortcut on my desktop was a 32 bit version. When I ran the 64 bit version it worked. Why I had a 32 bit version is a puzzle for another day.
