Delete From sysssislog?

  Hi, I have a lot of entries in sysssislog and want to clear out the old ones. Is it O.K. to do a simple DELETE FROM query? I know that sometimes it is best to use microsoft commands to edit msdb tables, in order to clear tables in an elegant way; but I cannot find anything useful on the subject.

  I've only found one topic on this, but it said it is OK to delete from sysssislog manually
