    This will not work on SQL Server 2005 and the definition did not specify capabiity with SQL Server 2005 and.or 2008

    Good Day,

    thank you for the snippett, but is there no altinative to cursors for doing this ? We crucify developers who use cursors and now we do the same . Should standards not be applied consistantly ?

    Sometimes (maybe not here) we just have to use a cursor.
