Well i m transfering database objects from sql server 2000 to sql server 2005 using the "Transfer SQL Server Objects Task" in SSIS,
lot of the database tables in sql server 2000 have default values for columns.
Problem is that -> These default values are not brought over to sql server 2005 by SSIS task.
how can i resolve this problem..... i have tried all settings for SSIS task...
i will appreciate if someone can help me...
do i need to install some service pack or hotfix...
thanks

You must have checked this, make sure you selected, Destination Copy options - CopyAllDefaults to TRUE.

I remember like that task does 'nt work for sql 2000. So, better go for alternatives like import and export wizard..
