I have a requirement like I need to have default values for all my parameters in my report. But Report should not run unless i click view report button. Is that possible?

Not that I know of, you can have defaults for all but one parameter.

i dont see any problem, maybe i didnt understand the question correctly...
u can have default values for all reports by setting their default values in the parameter properties... and then when the report is viewed , the parameters will be populated with their default values only, and the report will not run unless u click view report... that is the normal behaviour only right?

Nope, if all parameters are supplied, the report will run and there's nothing you can do about it except leaving one value off.
Yes I know I'm 3 years behind, but I just found this thread via google so in case I'm not the only one!!!

You are absolutely right, looks like I had misread the question 3 years back :)...
If you populate all the default values, the report will run automatically
