Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place for this topic ...
Anyways, I want to set this new desktop I recently picked up as a dedicated monitoring station for a specific NT account. So more specifically, I want to keep a service account logged in and run Spotlight on start up and not allow it to access the start menu/task manager, etc.
I'm toying around with applocker and such now, but I don't think is going to get me where I want/need to be. I realize I can also lock down individual items in the registry and such, but just curious if there was a better/easier way to accomplish this task.

Yeah that's where I'm at now ... was just looking for an easy way out!
