  Hello,

  I am responsible for the disk usage on our servers. My team is being required to add a graphic to each record/chart in our system. This image is basically a signature. This file is not large, but they are wanting to duplicate 1,000 (maybe 10s of 1000s) of times. I told them I 'thought' I had heard that SQL 2012 has de-duplication features.

  Can anyone help?

  How are you storing the images? Is the binary data being stored inside a table or are you storing references to the images?
