  Hi

  Sorry for the upcoming vagueness....

  I have a replication job and have recently run out of space because the snapshot grew and the REPLDATA folder kept too many copies of the replication

  Not sure how this works but it seems to keep 14 occurrences

  Now the snapshot is done once daily and copies the entire DB for reporting purposes

  I actually only need maybe 2 copies, because in reality the data will be too old to restore after that anyway.

  Any insight on this would help greatly

  I think what you are looking to do is decrease the retention timeframe.... from 72 hours to.... maybe 24 hours.....

  I am going to give it a try , any idea why it still would have older snapshots like 12/24/13 ?

  is it maybe a permissions on the folder?
